What does 'more than' mean when comparing data?
Answer
'More than' means a bigger number. If 7 children like apples and 4 like oranges, then apples are liked MORE THAN oranges because 7 is bigger than 4.
What does 'less than' mean when comparing data?
Answer
'Less than' means a smaller number. If 3 children like bananas and 6 like mangoes, then bananas are liked LESS THAN mangoes because 3 is smaller than 6.
Look at this data: Bus - 12 students, Walk - 8 students, Bicycle - 5 students. How do most students come to school?
Answer
Most students come to school by bus because 12 is the highest number. Bus has more students than walking (8) and bicycle (5).
What is a chart?
Answer
A chart is a way to show data using pictures or symbols. It makes data easy to see and understand at a glance. Charts can use faces, shapes, or other symbols.
