Frequently Asked Questions

How many hours should I study daily for board exams?

For CBSE/ICSE board exams, 6-8 hours of focused study daily is recommended in the final 3 months. This includes school hours. Break it into 45-minute blocks with 10-15 minute breaks (Pomodoro technique). Consistency matters more than long hours.

For JEE preparation: allocate equal time to Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. Dedicate 6-8 hours daily (excluding school). Include at least 2 mock tests per week. Reserve Sundays for revision and weak areas. Adjust the timetable monthly based on progress.

It depends on your exam timeline. If exams are 3+ months away, rotate 2-3 subjects per day to avoid fatigue. In the last month, you can study all subjects daily with shorter time blocks. Always include revision of previously studied topics.

Focus on NCERT thoroughly — it covers boards and forms the base for JEE/NEET. Study boards during school hours and coaching material in the evening. In the last 2 months before boards, prioritise boards. After boards, focus fully on JEE/NEET.
