110 (One hundred and ten). When we add 1 to 109, the ones place changes from 9 to 0, and the tens place increases from 0 to 1.

Answer
15 bundles of 10 matchsticks. 150 = 15 tens + 0 ones. We can also think of it as 1 hundred (10 bundles) + 5 tens (5 bundles) + 0 ones.
What number is 1 less than 130?
Answer
129. When we subtract 1 from 130, the ones place changes from 0 to 9, and the tens place decreases from 3 to 2.
