- A linear equation in two variables has the form ax + by + c = 0, where a, b, c are constants and x, y are variables with degree 1

Method of Elimination by Substitution

- Arrange coefficients in the pattern: b₁, c₁, a₁ in first row and b₂, c₂, a₂ in second row
