Frequently Asked Questions

What NEET rank is needed for AIIMS Delhi?

For AIIMS Delhi MBBS (General category), you typically need a NEET All India Rank under 50. This translates to a score of about 710+ out of 720. The cutoff varies slightly each year.

In General category, getting a government medical college at rank 50,000 is very difficult through AIQ (All India Quota). However, through state counselling in states with more seats (UP, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu), there may be possibilities. SC/ST/OBC candidates have better chances.

NEET counselling happens in two stages: AIQ (All India Quota) counselling by MCC for 15% seats in govt colleges + all deemed/central universities, and State Quota counselling for 85% seats in state govt colleges. You register, fill choices, and seats are allocated based on rank and preferences.

AIQ (All India Quota) covers 15% of seats in government medical colleges, open to all states. State Quota covers the remaining 85% seats, reserved for domicile students of that state. State quota cutoffs are usually more favourable if you're from that state.
