How SGPA to CGPA Conversion Works

CGPA = Σ(SGPA × Credits) ÷ Σ(Credits)

Example:

  • Sem 1: SGPA 8.5 × 20 credits = 170
  • Sem 2: SGPA 8.0 × 20 credits = 160
  • Sem 3: SGPA 8.8 × 22 credits = 193.6

Total weighted = 523.6, Total credits = 62

CGPA = 523.6 ÷ 62 = 8.45
