Logarithms

log(ab) = log a + log b
log(a/b) = log a − log b
log(aⁿ) = n log a
log₁₀ y = 0.4343 ln y

Trigonometry

sin²θ + cos²θ = 1
1 + tan²θ = sec²θ
1 + cot²θ = cosec²θ
sin 2θ = 2 sin θ cos θ
cos 2θ = cos²θ − sin²θ = 2cos²θ − 1 = 1 − 2sin²θ

Differentiation

d/dx(xⁿ) = n xⁿ⁻¹
d/dx(ln x) = 1/x
d/dx(eˣ) = eˣ
d/dx(sin x) = cos x; d/dx(cos x) = −sin x
d/dx(tan x) = sec²x; d/dx(cot x) = −cosec²x

Integration

∫xⁿ dx = xⁿ⁺¹/(n+1) + c, (n ≠ −1)
∫(1/x) dx = ln|x| + c
∫sin x dx = −cos x + c; ∫cos x dx = sin x + c
∫eˣ dx = eˣ + c
∫sec²x dx = tan x + c; ∫cosec²x dx = −cot x + c
